These courses are designed for System Administrators who need to install, configure and maintain systems using WebSphere Application Server v7.0 / v8.0 or individuals looking for head-start in becoming a WebSphere administrator. The content will also be invaluable for J2EE developers who intend deploying to WebSphere Application Server based environments.

The student should have a good understanding of Web technology, Java, and operational skills for Linux. Administration skills for a web server like Apache or IBM HTTP Server would also be beneficial although not required.
